The Township Clerk’s Office is committed to providing accurate, up-to-date election information and ensuring all eligible voters have access to the voting process.
To register to vote, you must be all of the following:
- * A U.S. citizen
- *At least 18 years old by Election Day
- *A resident of Michigan
- *A resident of the city or township where you are applying to register to vote.
- *Not currently be serving a sentence in jail or prison.

There you will find information about registering to vote and voting, voting equipment, polling place locations, state and local ballots, the candidates, campaign finance and more. Your local clerk can help with questions about your voter registration, polling place location and working at the polls.
Van Buren County Early Voting
**The closing of the polls for early voting will be held at the Hartford Township Hall located at 61310 C.R. 687 Hartford, MI 49057 at 8:00 pm on election night.
Antwerp Township Preprocessing of AV Ballots
Antwerp has adopted a Resolution establishing an Absent Voter Counting Board that is able to process and count ballots prior to election day. If that Counting Board choses to do so, the information regarding dates and times will be posted here!
