The Antwerp Township Treasurer is required to receive and take charge of all funds belonging to Antwerp Township or which are required by law to be paid to the Township Treasury. The Treasurer is the Township’s agent for collecting all taxes.
The Treasurer’s Department is responsible for collecting real and personal property taxes, receipting for township expenditures, depositing township revenues in approved depositories, investing township funds in approved investment vehicles, collecting delinquent personal property taxes and the sale of dog licenses during December, January and February.
The Treasurer also serves on the Township Board and various other boards to represent the Township.
